Hall-Brooke Behavioral
Services
project description
GMI Architects created a new, compact, and efficient facility for Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services, now St. Vincent’s Behavioral Healthcare Services, Westport Campus.
The replacement facility for Hall-Brooke Hospital is a model that will remain viable well into the twenty first century. Located in the middle of a beautiful 25-acre site in Westport, Connecticut, the new facility replaced five non-conforming 19th and 20th century buildings with a compact 72 bed, 58,000 square foot facility on two floors. The new building accommodates both adolescent and adult in-patients and out-patients and supports activities under one roof as the anchor for Hall-Brooke’s well known system for a continuum of care which includes an extensive network of housing options and out-patient residential treatment programs.
